Community group and business fundraising

If you run a community group or club please consider raising money for us as your ‘Charity of the Year’. We would love to give a presentation to your group so that you understand how the League of Friends helps our local community.

Donation from The Castle Inn

Our thanks go to the Castle Inn, Axminster for their kind donation of £202.00. This was raised by sponsoring a brick in the newly refurbished pub garden.
Raffle

Axminster Hospital Raffle

Huge thanks to the staff of Axminster Hospital for organising the raffle in aid of the League of Friends. the raffle prizes were drawn by the Chair of the League of Friends, Steve Holt and ticket sales raised over £1300. All proceeds will go to towards funding an Axminster Hospice at Home service.

Axminster Young Farmers Club

We were extremely happy to receive a cheque for £1262.59 from Axminster Young Farmers Club- the proceeds from their Christmas tree collection and a quiz. The money is going towards funding a new service to provide palliative care locally.
